Tabatha Trolli is a ceramic artist and educator based in Dallas, Texas. She holds a BFA in Ceramics from Temple University's Tyler School of Art and an MFA in Ceramics from the University of North Texas. Her practice moves between functional ceramics and sculpture, with work exhibited in galleries nationally since 2010. As a member of the Dallas-based multidisciplinary collective Empire of Dirt, Trolli was part of the landmark installation Invocation of the Cosmic Body at the Nasher Sculpture Center — a critically acclaimed multimedia work, fabricated in part at the renowned Ceramica Suro in Guadalajara, Mexico, and reviewed in Artforum. Empire of Dirt was recently named among Dallas cultural influencers by Patron Magazine.
